tubing modification & secondary processing

Finished components, tubing sub-assemblies and unique molded parts from a wide range of fluoropolymer and thermoplastic materials can be manufactured using proprietary and cost-effective technologies. 


catheter assemblies

Catheter products include constructions from PEBAX®, FEP, PTFE Teflon®, braided tubings and other materials. These examples show a range of technical and production capabilities.


flares

Flared FEP, PFA, PTFE and PEEK tubing provide maximum sealing and mechanical properties. Flares are molded, not stretched or stressed. A range of custom configurations are possible at very competitive prices.


introducers

Custom split introducers are made in various French (diameter) sizes, tab lengths, transition cones, overall lengths and tab decorations. Typically, these introducers are radiopaque white FEP material.


mesh or braid

A variety of novel components and assemblies utilizing braided material. Typically, braided material is only one element of a complex construction. Braids may include a variety of polymeric fibers as well as stainless steel wire. Combinations of processes, materials and structures make many engineered solutions possible.


tubing assemblies

Extruded tubing of PTFE, FEP, PFA, silicone rubber, Tygon®, and other polymers are combined with fittings, flares and other components for use in medical, diagnostic, test and industrial equipment.


mesh braid

molded parts

This is a precise molded FEP Teflon® part for a flow control application. Notice the thick and thin wall sections. The inside taper is a critical compound angle. Application requirements do not allow flash, gate marks, weld lines, distortion, surface defects, or shrink voids. This part is an example of complex and precise shapes that are not moldable by conventional technology. Common injection molding defects are avoided with proprietary technology.

In nitinol or stainless steel our principals offer precise execution of your designs and specialized manufacturing solutions. While industry standard laser capabilities are available, we also utilize alternate laser technologies to reduce the heat affected zone. Feature sizes of under 50 microns with precise tolerances are achievable.


molded parts & o-rings

Compression, Transfer, Blow Molding and LIM (Liquid Injection Molding) for all medical and industrial applications in Silicone Rubber, Viton® and other elastomers. Medical grade materials are molded in a Class 10,000 certified clean room at an FDA registered, ISO-9001 facility. Molded parts may be combined in complete assemblies with tubing or other components.

O rings can be manufactured from 0.020” ID to over 120 inch diameters with exacting tolerances. This type of part may also be produced through close tolerance cutting of an extruded profile to significantly reduce tooling charges.
