As
manufacturers’ representatives, DSA are your local technical
salespeople. We believe that the breadth of capabilities we
represent will help you to identify the most appropriate source
for your product needs. And we may be able to suggest alternative
technologies which result in cost savings or product improvements.
David Schnur Associates is not a broker or distributor - our
sales, engineering and advocacy services come at no cost to
our customers.
We
take greatest pride in the many long-term relationships we
have maintained with our customers, many of whom have brought
us along from one company to the next (and the next, and the
next . . . .) Many of our principals have also grown with
us over many years, and we are grateful for their loyalty
and support.
H I S T O R Y
Following
a career in new product development, technical sales and sales
management, David Schnur founded DSA in 1978. Holding a B.S.
in Chemical Engineering and an M.S. in Industrial and Management
Engineering from Columbia University, Dave focused on development
of silicone rubber and advanced adhesive products before his
sales and sales management career with Permacel, Johnson &
Johnson and Advance Electrical Sales.
David
Schnur Associates initially focused on the electrical, electronics
and aerospace markets in California, but quickly became a
significant source of products to the burgeoning medical device
industry. We have exhibited at MD&M West in Anaheim since
1987. Harriet Schnur’s role quickly expanded to encompass
her current administrative and financial duties, and DSA grew
over time to its current nine offices. While there have been
changes over the years, the typical DSA rep has worked with
us for 6 years.
